Off a good friends 2011 Chevrolet Silverado truck 4x4 with 4.8 v-8. Oil used was Autozone Syn 5w30 for 8,000 miles. Truck has 70,xxx miles on it. Put STP Synthetic and another of these filters on he supplied. Enjoy the pictures

I have seen these filters at Auto Zone, they are very well built and I would not hesitate to use one but there are just so many choices but someday I will try one.

Yeah the pricing isn't that great. It's not so bad if you buy it as part of a package deal at AZ. I paid $24.99 for a jug of STP Syn and a STP XL.

I cut one of these open a while back. They look great! I usually get them with the STP synthetic deal or the Mobil 1 and STPXL deal. I should have another one or two to cut open in the next 3 months!
