NODA "CAVU" blonde ale. Kinda hoppy but not as hoppy as hop drop n' roll

Madtree Brewing Co. (Cincinnati,OH)
"Thunder Snow"
8.5% ABV Spiced Scottish Ale.

What they say:
"The conditions have to be just right for the formation of Thundersnow. Ginger, nutmeg, vanilla, hints of cinnamon and a bready malt sweetness are the secret. When you find this rare occurrence, savor it as long as you can."

what I say:
Darn Tasty, a bit pricey for me..($11.99/6pk)

Marketing and new flavors are going absolutely bananas in recent years with the increasing numbers of microbreweries trying to differentiate themselves. I just had an "Mounds" candy bar flavored beer, no kidding, coconut and chocolate, and it was good.

Having to renew our annual membership, and have the complimentary meal in the month of my birthday, this is appropriate (yes, it's about that exact establishment)...

Stumbled on a brew the other day in the liquor store.

Left Hand Brewing Co.
Milk Stout Nitro

That is a smooth brew. Little pricey but not out of line, but the good ones do come at a premium. I think it was $12/6pk

I've only drank it from the bottle, I'll have to pour hard as they suggest.
