Fuel additives for short tripper?

I've never used fuel additives. My wife drives constant short trips. Sometimes they are as short as a mile to the gym. It drives me nuts but what to do short of have her drive around town for no other reason?
Would I be wise to consider a fuel additive for her car? If so, what brand and how often do you recommend? Thanks!

Edit: We only use Top Tier gasoline.

Regane Complete Fuel System Cleaner or "anything with PEA" once a year.

Gumout All in One with Regane or Red line SI 1. For short trips I would look to running a full synthetic motor oil too if not already.

You're doing a good thing by sticking to TT fuel. That alone should keeps things clean but a bottle of Techron once a year isn't a bad idea.

Go out on the highway once every 2 wks to burn off any condensation and carbon.

This is a necessity! If you can arrange a road trip, add the PEA fuel additive before the trip.

Send slightly more for Regane High Mileage, for a little more concentration of PEA detergent.
