First ATF analysis on my RX400h. Drained and refilled with 4 quarts of Toyota ATF-WS. I bought the car with 89k miles, and I assume it was the factory fill.

Lab was ALS. They flagged it as abnormal due to high Fe, Al, Ni, Si as can be seen on the report.

Every 60k if towing, not otherwise specified.

I'm thinking you are glad to have that stuff out.

Lifetime ATF fluid.
And this is correct. It's just that changing the fluid increases the lifetime of the transmission.

Is there a magnet anywhere in the transmission to collect iron particles? that's a high 278 ppm
Like at the drain plug or inside the pan?
I've seen them on differential plugs, and you can get them for engine sump plugs.

That's not high that's actually a good UOA for the FF, which it mostly certainly is if the Si is from factory sealant which would wash out if it had been changed before.

This has got to be FF ..... and the wear ppm for Fe, Al etc are bad..... as a result of LV ATF and extended OCI.
Wait, what's lifetime fluid ?
