Thought I'd post this if anyone was bothered by sun glare on the screen.
Fabricated a pretty effective hood to shade the video screen of the new head unit....simple job. Mine is an the 05 camry but might work on most other cars.
Take a $1 plastic 3-ring binder made from a single sheet of (black) pliable plastic and...
1. Cut the 10"x11" cover into 2 equal parts 5.75"x10".
2. Insert the OVERLAPPING long ends in the top gap between the dash kit and the dashboard and fold the other end in the gap at the sides.
3. Cut the arc as in the pix.
4. Black duct tape goes on the inside of the "flaps" and a bit of tape on the top side.
You will be able to insert the DVD, though it is a bit of a fiddle.
