Has anyone on here ran a XG3600 on their Onan generator that takes the Onan 122-0836 filter?
I would like to run a better filtering filter and save money to boot.
I can't believe the flow would be too high for the XG filter, its on a 5.5k generator in my motorhome.

Thats the filter I have on it right now(PH10027). It looks like the XG3600 will fit 2.98" o.d. X 4.92" long with a 12 lbs by-pass vs PH10027 2.563" o.d. X 4.75" long with a 14 lbs by-pass. Also in Wix it crosses over to the 57398 2.68" o.d. X 4.40" long with a 8 lbs by-pass.

Im just looking for a filter that filters better than the PH10027 or the Wix.
The Fram was $19 and change out the door at Auto Zone today.

We had Onan engines on our Miller gas welders many years ago. We used the PH3614 and larger PH3600 style filters on them with no problems. If the filter is mounted vertically you can also use the heavy duty PH3816 (built like a tank, intended for tractors) but it has no ADBV.
