I've had good luck with Vicovation dash cams. I've had a Vicovation TF2+ Premium in my Subaru for about 3.5 years and have never had any trouble with it. I also have a Vicovation Marcus 2 in my Ford for 1.25 years. I went with these cameras because of their heat tolerance (185 degrees Fahrenheit for storage, 167 for operating) and because their ultra wide angle lenses (160 degrees) can see from A pillar to A pillar when positioned under the rear-view camera.
