Motorcraft Electrical Grease - XG-12

what makes it special is the Motorcraft name on it.
go to HD or any hardware store and purchase a tube of electrical conductor terminal grease.
the anti-corrosion properties will keep the connections in good shape for years.

I have a tube of the XG-12 (also have the XG-3) grease and tested its conductivity with a multimeter - it is non conductive. I inserted two sharp probes into the grease, held the probes apart a millimetre and the multimeter showed infinite resistance. Strangely enough the MSDS for the XG-12 states that it is a conductive grease

I don't know why Motorcraft claims it is conductive, they are wrong.

I believe XG-12 is manufactured by Nye Lubricants and is the recommended lubricant to prevent fretting corrosion of electrical terminals.

This^ Both greases mentioned are excellent...the XG-12 is used on electrical connections, including use for air bag connections to prevent corrosion and solve airbag malfunction lights on certain vehicles.
