Acura TL transmission pressure switches

I changed 3rd and 4th pressure switches on my 04 ody as I kept getting the blinking D light. After doing extensive research on on various boards- seems the switches were bad. After changing the switches- trans shifts like new. Some say to do it as preventative maintenance while others wait. The switches were easy to change- the hardest part is jacking up the car and taking off the driver's side tire. The switches are very easy to get to.

I changed out the 2nd and 3rd pressure switches, the only two for my model, and they made a significant difference in my 175,000-mile original transmission. I wish I had known this sooner. In addition, I did a D&F with Maxlife and the up-shifts and downshifts are dramatically improved. I'm in agreement that these Honda automatics need frequent fluid replacement to replenish the ATF additives.
