Hi people.
Hope someone can help me here.

On my gate i have two Hydraulic pistons
The brand is Telcoma (blues 50)

They need a oil change.
I checked the manuel and its need TS30 oil

I checked the stores
They never have heard from this oil.
Now Ts30 is Telcoma own label.

I try to fill to piston with regular h32 hydro oil.
Now the gate works bad i think to oil is to thick.

Hope someone knows what type of oil i need.

Sorry for my bad English-language

Do you still have the old oil?

Drill a hole in the bottom of a metal can, and mark an arbitrary level, say 100cc. This will be a crude viscometer. Run the old oil through and time it. Run the new oil through and time it. Compare.

Hi eljefino
Thanks for your fast reply.

Sorry i dont have the old oil anymore.
And its hydraulic oil rhis very thin oil
I don't think this will work.

Anyway thanks in advance.

Hi spasm3.

Thanks you also for the fast reply.
Telcoma is not telling what oil is a good replacement.
They want them to buy there oil.
For a total of €95.- euros per ltr
I need about 3 ltr in total.
Thats to much money i think.

Thanks for your advice

Sorry I whas wrong about the price.

It cost about 60 euro for 5 ltr
Need 6 for two pistons.

This is without shipping.
So i think the price is about to same.

I agree, if you have a Deere dealer near you try some of their Low Vis HyGard, its an ISO 32 oil. Its one of the best hydraulic fluids available.

Hi HosteenJorje and roadrunner1.

I wrote in my first topic that i try h32 oil
Think thats the same oil..

I try it and i think it's to thick.

It don't works when it's cold the gate will not open or closes fully and is very slow.

Thanks you for thinking with me.
Greetings Taxidriver

Deere also offers a 10W oil for its newer hydraulic systems, but I think its very close to their Low Vis/ISO 32.

Hoe about the newest low-viscosity automatic transmission fluids? You could also ask Amsoil what their thinnest viscosity oil possible is.

MIL-H-83282 hydraulic fluid (Royco 782) stays very thin when cold...

I would not be surprised if the oil was too thin. If your gate operates with a positive displacement pump, the pump will put out the same volume each rotation unless it leaks internally. Thin oils leak internally. About any oil should work, I would look for mechanical problem.
