Amsoil's "Heavy Duty Protector" is a kind of rubberized protector you spray on the bottom of cars. Is there another brand that is equivalent & just as good & cheaper (less than $6.90)?

Thanks

Thats a before shipping price I assume. I can get a can of Fluid film for $9.99 at Lowes. Its a waxy parrafin that lasts about a year. Its ok, wish it would attract less sand and grime.. I'm changing to something dry after the jack almost slipped off the frame... with me underneath.. Probably chassis saver.

OK now you scared me. The car slipped off the jack? Doesn't your car have "pegs" to fit into the jack's hole & prevent that sort of thing? (Maybe I don't want to use this Waxy protector after all.)

Truck..almost slipped off..was sliding I could feel it then I looked and scrambled out. I had stands in place but still. So now when it goes up on a lift at a shop I'm worried.

AMSOIL HD metal protector is not rubberized, it is waxy.

I don't, off-hand, know if anything incredibly similar. What are you trying to protect?
