Blackstone Comments:
Since the oil wasn't changed after the last report, it's not a surprise that metals went up, although it does look like this engine produced more wear on a per-hour basis over the second leg of this oil run. Take iron, for example; you got 15 ppm in the first 56 hours, but added another 12 ppm in the last 28 hours, nearly twice the wear-rate. Chrome (rings) and copper (brass/bronze parts) are both high, and we also found excess fuel, at 2.8%, which lowered the viscosity. The TBN is still strong at 7.6, but due to metals and fuel, it's time to change this oil. Check back.

The oil sheered as all the 0W-40 do.I wonder is the 15W-40 Amsoil AME would give you better results in that monster quad? unless you need the 0W part for winter starts.

During hunting season it's running around in the woods. During spring/summer it's doing low speeds with a spray tank strapped to the back and putting out fertilizer. It also gets hooked up and used to move trailers around, typically in the 1K lb range. And then there is an occasional trip to the beach where it's cruising up and down the coast...
