researched on line and found that the cause of no high beams might be the dimmer switch. I used test light to determine power coming in on yellow wire to switch and low beams and then placed switch on high beams and test light did not light up on green wires(2) to high beams, replaced dimmer switch and the high beams worked. Truck sat over night and back to square one next day: low beams work but no high beams.
