Good morning BITOG. Since I was bored and curious, I decided to cut this MC FL-400S open. Looks good for $3.97 and Purolator hasn't found a way to fudge this one up yet

. Currently have one of these on the Camry without issue. Enjoy the pictures

Thanks c51
I still don't like the center pleat but I hope MC filters improve.
I like white and the price was nice but I only use MG's and Ultras these days.

The 910s appears to be one of the better ones.

FlyNavyP3, looks like glue or the adhesive they use to bond the media to the end caps.

car51, quick question. Although this is not the specified filter for this vehicle. There's no issue with fitment, correct? I have a Hastings equivalent that I want to get rid of. If all is good I'll put it on my 07 Camry Hybrid.

No fitment issues at all Farmer. This filter is exactly 1/2" longer than a FRAM 4386

Its a 4 cylinder. The V6 would use a Fram 9972 sized cartridge filter.

I guess I'll use it next OCI. They aren't that different.

I still will use Motorcrafts in the 910s, 400s and FL-1A flavors but that is about as much Puro as I will tolerate.

Looks like it has "end cap pop off" syndrome. Strange if it really only uses on metal end cap and the other is just potting material - haven't seen anything like that posted.
