Visited my doctor today

I am "slightly" over 50 years old and visited my doctor today.

I mentioned my health expectations of him.

"Hey doctor, I am near middle age (his eyebrows raise), and it's your job to keep me there."

All said in good humor of course ... and maybe not.

True story.

Last time I went to the doctor I got the finger. Then a scope. Still didn't get my cardiology referral. No thanks, no more. I'll stick to an apple a day.

I asked my doctor if he thought I would live to be 90-100 years old. I am now 68.

He asked:"Do you smoke?" I told him no.

He asked:"Do you drink a lot of hard liquor or wine?" I told him no.

He asked:"Do you consort with women of loose morals?" I told him no.

He said, "Why the heck do you want to live to be 90?"
