Saab 9-5 Flex Pipe

My flex pipe is bad and I have been looking into options. A Starla pipe is about $120. I can get a good used OEM pipe for $55. Is the OEM used pipe a dumb idea? I assume the Starla pipe is not stainless, and the OEM is?

Go for the OE part, it's cheaper, will fit better, and should last longer. Or get a CHEAP replacement of eBay, high zinc prime it then high temp paint it - more satisfying and cheaper too

I agree, but I hear a lot of talk about poor quality replacements that rot out quickly.

If only the flex section is damaged weld a new one in, cheap and easy for any independent.
