2002 Tundra Rust...

I personally would never buy a vehicle that looked that bad.

However, if it's from a state that uses a lot of salt, for a 2002 it doesn't look terrible. Not good either, though.

My grandpa has a 99 Silverado 1500 and it's been sitting in the drive for 2 years because the frame is busted in 4 places from rusting away. Came out of upstate New York.

He picked it up 2 days ago. I saw rust on rockers but haven't looked thoroughly underneath. It shifts smooth and steering feels tight. Oil and trans fluid looked clean and full. It has a constant tick cold and warm, sounds like an exhaust leak. He is very happy with it though. We will change oil this coming weekend, will use something well known for cleaning and a Fram Ultra.
