2500 miles on that earlier QSUD OCI looks almost used up with a TBN of 2.6. Would have expected much better. Short tripper vehicle?

On the second oil it sure doesn't look like any PP or PP HM I've seen before with Calcium levels typically 2200-2500 ppm. The entire add pack looks to be missing something. And the other motor oils that keep Calcium well under 2000 ppm tend to supplement with 400-700 ppm of Sodium or Magnesium to make up for the missing Calcium/detergent. Don't see that here. Looks like a bargain basement conventional...though it's not far from a Chevron conventional add pack. Despite the possible lower quality of that last oil run, the TBN was still strong.

PQIA 20 grades

PQIA HM oils

Doesn't look like Pennz HM. And even the QS conventional has a much stronger add pack than how that last one ended up.

Yes it's often a short tripper, 4.5 miles to work, usually I start it 10 minutes before leaving to work year round but home I start it and leave no time for that. 90% Country/City-10% Highway.
TOTO.

Looks like you could stretch it to a yearly OCI with the good #'s you're showing. When you run out of old oil, I'd feed it MaxLife Blend and just keep a jug of SuperTech dino around for top offs.

Is the engine burning or dripping oil?

Slight oil drip, it was more with QS & PZ, I am happy with the way the engine runs on Mobil 1, I was also happy with the QSUD not so much with PZ PL HM, just a seat of the pants feeling.

As far as the Lead goes we have to put into perspective this is an 18 year old engine I couldn't be happier with this vehicle it's nice to drive, I've kept up on major and minor repairs I paid cash no car payment and I plow my personal drive which is almost a mile long, so again it's all good,
TOTO.

Yep I will run 1 year with the Mobil 1 HM SM, I average less than 6,000k per year, my local store often has Mobil1 on sale for less than $20 for a 5 qt jug and I've ignored that for too long so I'm going with that, Mobil1 says 10k or 1 year is the guarantee.

The QS was during the winter but the PP seems Better. I would run a 0W-40 and see what happens.
