Here is a good fuel additive calculator tool to make it easier to add fuel additives to gas tank : http://www.csgnetwork.com/oilfuelcalc.html
Proper maintenance ratios (per the manufacturers recommendations) are listed below :

MMO = 320:1 gas ratio
Sl-1 = 852:1 gas ratio
TC-W3 = 640:1 gas ratio

I hope this helps to simplify things !

*Please Note* - The TC-W3 does not have an "official" recommendation for 4 stroke engines , how ever the folks at LS-1.com (thread : http://www.ls1.com/forums/f48/been-testing-oil-91206/) have found best results at 640:1 to gas ratio ... Your mileage may vary .

Well looks like you need the 852:1 ratio clean in your GDi's.PEA is only thing that helps direct injection or any non direct injection cars. Plus that SI-1 has friction modifier and increases octane.

So those of us running 1oz to 5 gallons in ope are on the money!

I keep an old Stabil bottle filled with TCW-3 in the trunk of both cars, 60,000 and 3,500 mi. straight on the juice never miss a beat.

Well, whether or not they actually do anything in this particular case is one thing, but small amounts of additives do accomplish things. Look at the measures of additives in oil, which are in parts per million, rather than parts per thousand like we're seeing here.

Personally, Top Tier gas with the occasional SI-1 dose does it for me, but I can only speak for me.

it's super easy to visualize.

just think like dishwash soap or laundry detetgent. 1 ounce of that can make 10gallons of suds no problem.

Small amounts of additives, can do something, whether they do in the OP's case is debatable. I can put small amounts of acetone in my fuel and we know that does things....bad things...

That advice would work well too !

As an example, IIRC one gallon of oil can contaminate about a million gallons of drinking water. It doesn't take much to mess up water or tweak fuel. As mentioned we typically talk ppm.
