A google search for this grease turns up zero results and no one carries it. It only comes, as far as I know, in Volvo OEM boot kits for the inner (tripod bearing) of a CV axle. The grease is light yellow/tan and walks a fine line based on viscosity between being a clear tan colored wheel bearing grease and a clear tan colored gear oil, almost as if though some bright engineer got the idea to mix the two.

If this helps, on the Ford packet, it states: "Contains Reaction products of 4-methyl-2-pentanol and diphosphorus pentasulfide, propoxylated, esterified with diphosphorus pentaoxide, and salted by amines, C12-14-tert-alkyl."

What the heck is this stuff?

It's grease that goes exactly where it's supposed to and never gets lost

Sounds like how Toyota and Honda have a separate grease for their CV joints - one side takes a conventional moly EP grease, mostly the wheel end and the transaxle side takes a white/tan grease.

I wonder if Ford uses GKN as a CV axle supplier - Toyota uses GKN for US-built models, I believe Honda also uses GKN axles as well.
