I was relieved to see this UOA. With the horror stories I've read about PCV problems in Volvos, I was concerned that my 7500mi oci with Castrol 0W40 in our '03 V70 2.4T might be contributing to sludging up the PCV system. I feel better about it now, but still need to get the pcv system serviced soon. Car is approaching 170K miles, and I don't think it's ever been done.
I learned very well in my light turbo charged cars: if I use only fully synthetic oil (Group III/III+ at least) => no worries about the healthy/clean condition of the throttle body or PCV system. I tested and works it with Mobil1 0W40, Mobil Super 3000 5W40, Shell Helix Ultra 5W40.
