In an attempt to bring some much needed balance to this section of Bob I present to you a perfect Puro Boss!!! This filter was run on a John Deere zero turn for 50 Hours.

Definitely pleased with how great this filter looks! No rust. ADBV was absolutely intact. Louvers were nicely opened. Laser straight pleats. Maybe they are able to make a good filter!?!?

Looks great. I guess a zt mower does not put the same stress on a filter as a car or truck?
And 50 hours is not a bunch of hours.

Haha! That mower cost me almost as much as I paid for the Jetta in my sig!

Lol. Do you leave it on more than one year?

That ADBV looks similar to the one I cut apart. I don't think it could make contact with the holes in the tapping plate under normal use for the ones constructed like this one.

The tapping plate looks almost like there is some manner of crosshatch on it though?

Bullwinkle, they weren't sharp, but I don't believe it ever had the chance to tear the adbv. Here's why:

That raised circle is what the adbv sat on, so I don't think it would press against the edges of the tapping plate hard enough to rip. I could be completely wrong, but that's my thought.

I was going to run it for 100 hours but I kinda got the "bitog itch" to cut it open!

You would think he takes it to bed.

Too old to be an "improved" version of the filter.

What's that mean ZeeOSix?
