Valvoline used to use a ton of moly in their Maxlife,but no longer do.

Yep, I agree as Moly and Boron are real good add's, along with as much Zinc as possible (Exhaust type limited) and lots of Mg & Ca detergents.
Sodium is one add that I avoid, in fact I regard it as a marker for El-cheapo oil.

You are absolutely correct! That is definitely misinformation but,UltrafanUK obviously has an axe to grind and is going to keep to keep making those kind of statements regardless of how wrong he is.
