Very good results, I would stick with the Toyota 0W20 for the next oil change and run to similar time and distance.

What OCI is recommended for your '12 down under? From all the xW-heavy talk I didn't realize you could even buy 0W oil there in Oz.

He's going 9000km, which is 5580 miles.

6 months oci is a reasonable interval. 5000 km is obsolete.

Recommended Viscosity 5w-30 and 6 months service interval.Now vehicle is out of warranty and i do 6 months oil change with 0w-20 grade.
We do have followings for sale in Oz. (Mobil 1 from an importer.)

Mobil 1 AFE 0w-20.
Mobil 1 EP 0w-20.
Penrite 0w-20, 0w-16,5w-20.
Valvoline 0w-20.
Fuchs 0w-20,5w-20.
Castrol Edge 0w-20 and 5w-20.
TGMO 0w-20.
Nulon 5w-20.

I really believe the 6month oil change interval is an overkill on most usage senarios.
Usually they give the 6month interval for extreme use case senarios. So pay attention if they mention 1 year for normal use.

My past experience if you change oil more frequently less oil leaks.
Engine will last long time but not the oil seals.
On these days Gasoline engine can go more than 500000kms with out major overhaul.
