Wix vs Purolator "One"

Wix (Napa Gold). Why? It's a solid filter and I can buy online by the dozen for about $5 ea delivered. Saves a lot of time and trouble.
Out of those two only - Wix because it isn't a Purolator.
Probably not the only one cut open here, but I wasn't too impressed:
Cut Open Puro PL14610 - Virgin (BLUE, Slotted)
There have been reports of cut ADBV on some of the "new" Puros...
I never thought I would see myself write this, but - I'd put a FRAM on it...

I have always used Wix but now they are made by Tearolator not anymore. Now I use Mahle, FU, German made Mann, Hengst and a couple of others for trucks or OE.
How about the Walmart SuperTechs. Same as WIX. Just bought one from Walmart for $3.
I've been using Wix exclusively, though I've recently gotten a big bunch of discontinued Driveworks and Advance Auto commercial counter filters (made by either Puro or Champion) for about $1 each that I'll be using for the foreseeable future.
Wix always "looks" the best-constructed of any filter I cut apart, fwiw.

Between these two choices... Wix every time.
Puro now has cuts in their ADBV .
New ones and used ones cut open have shown the circle cuts.
Some more severe than others.

Funny because WIX and purolator are Mann+Hummel brands.

No, they are made by Wix. Purolator is made by Purolator.
Both Wix and Purolator are owned by the same parent company (Mann+Hummel), but the companies (as of now) are still separate and share no manufacturing facilities or processes. There has not been any posts of decreased quality of Wix filters.
Funny thing is you will use a Mann filter that is made by the same company that owns Wix and Purolator, but use their ownership to not buy them.
