Pennzoil is switching all products to yellow bottles, so this will make PYB an obsolete acronym.

Now I checked Google date on the article and it's Oct 2016

Pyb is what we have been calling Pennzoil conventional for a long time, so now they're all yellow bottles even the synthetics

Yup, it is a sticky at the top of the forum.

Haha I see how I missed it. I searched through the top pages to check for duplicate threads but didn't expect a sticky. I have sort of been lurking less than usual because of the large number of posts I see that I can't even begin to try to reply to because of how bad they are.

They made the bottles taller, much like the Mobil and castrol bottles. Perhaps this was to make them look 'better' on the shelf, or just because shelf space costs them exposure and the taller bottles help that somewhat. The downside is the taller bottle so a bit harder to pour than the shorter previous version.

I still miss the clear QSUD bottles, I thought those really stood out and looked classy.

If you look though the new PYB also still is all yellow..
The other labels are not.

I think this is a mistake in marketing. People will think that there is not much difference in their oils now. I liked the classy look of the bronze high mileage bottle, the silver Platinum bottle, and the charcoal Ultra bottle.

Do you suppose this means that I'll be able to sell my stash of classic Ultra on eBay for oodles of cash?

This is a better idea for motor oil bottle.

No PP for me, till the NOACK values are disclosed again.
