How much is it "burning" and how often do you add oil?
Leave it alone until it's close to the lower mark on the dipstick and I'll bet you'll find that your Accord isn't really using much oil at all and can go to MM 15% and lower on an OCI with no adds.

Still assessing maybe 8 oz. in 3,000 miles. I topped it up when the dipstick level dropped. Maybe too much vtec when on cruise control towing my little 700 lb. bass boat.

From what I've learned here, Danish engines with popular xW40 would've grenaded often as a matter of fact .....

Broc, no monogrades please ...... for your own interest and wallet!

My engines oil cap reads "5W20". But, I use 5W30, 10W30, 0W20, 0W40, and, 5W20. Please tell me that my engine will not fall out, blow up, laugh at me, or beg for mercy!

I only have mono-grades for engines that specifically call for them - GM 2-stroke diesels. But I'm not afraid to use them anytime in any situation around SF Bay Area

Low on oil and that's all you have on hand, pour it in
