Good afternoon BITOG faithful. Have this older TV, circa 2004 works fine and was in my place when I moved here. Don't know how to go about getting rid of it. Don't know if my borough will accept it. Thanks in advance

Check Best Buy. The have had a recycling program in the past.

Put it by the curb with sign: "FREE; Works well"

Just posted it on Craigslist. Goodwill and Salvation Army will not accept it due to recycling and such gf found out Thursday. It's heavy and 2004 is what I know

We'd sat ours outside on the curb. It was gone before we knew it 
I dunno if I can do that in my borough
I have one of those. When we get the new washer & drier installed, I will put all out at the curb and call the county trash pickup.
We have a similar TV, a Sony in our case. It has a really good picture, but it's heavy and bulky. We're going to run it till it drops and then recycle it.

Why is that B.S? Their primary purpose is not to be a recycling center; it is to sell electronics.
Why not just shoot at it with some friends and then toss it into a bonfire?
