8 yr old open bottle of M1 5W-30?

I found an open, 3/4th full bottle of Mobil 1 5W-30 that is probably anywhere from 6 to 8 years old in my Dad's garage. Could it still be used or should I toss it? Could it be used in a Honda lawn mower or Briggs power washer?

I'd use it. If it was no name generic oil then I wouldn't.
