Just found the Castrol synthetic on Amazon - but with shipping it is $12 quart ... (don't have Prime)
I got some since I'm doing yearly pan dumps and prefer not mixing ...
They have 8 x 6 packs left ...

It's going in the 4T60 in the Buick in my sig when the time comes.

Why not get some licensed dex 6 from WalMart and run that for 10k miles, then swap it out for the synthetic?

A short flush cycle on a new trans isn't a bad idea IMO

There is Havoline Licensed Dex VI on Amazon for ~$46 for 12 qts.
I bought some for my mom's Saturn and seems to work just fine.

I spoke with Redline and they told me that I can use the D4 or D6 as a direct fill in the new trans without any problems, however doing as filter change at 10K is, IMHO as well, a good idea....
