Valvoline Durablend Turned Green?

I pushed Valvoline 279(durablend) a little over a month ago into my XJs TRE and U-joints

Some excess on my TRE are still dark grey(original color) but my Ujoints turned green?

Probably the color of the friction modifiers in the grease.

Only thing to worry about here is the lousy seals on the joint. But it sounds like your greasing regularly so it shouldn't be a problem in your case. It looks like the grease may have just mixed or reacted with whatever grease was in there before or reacted with the seals (maybe the dye used in the rubber?). Or as Trav pointed out the FM's showing their true colors. In any case I'd keep topping it off regularly and checking for play to make sure the needle bearings aren't grinding down inside the joint.
