That's a lot more than injector tick; that's the sound of mechanical noise caused by improper lubrication. 5W-20 is strongly suspected as the culprit. I recommend bumping up to 10W-40. That's sound advice!

I'm still waiting for any engine that spec's Xw20 in my fleet to go over 55K mi before it goes south. Subaru, Honda, ford doesn't matter. IIRC I'm zero for 4 in the past 5 years.

If one is only getting 55,000 miles on multiple vehicles by using the specified oil grade, then the problem isn't the oil.

Nor the engines.

Incorrect conclusion.
Two different drivers. One conservative, one aggressive. No difference.

+ Garbage gasoline, oil and engines.

Gas first, engine second, oil third.

I have heard that noise on a lot of 2.5 3.0 modular ford v6.
What I sometimes find is the end cylinder 1,3,4,6 has a broken exhaust manifold bolt. They are sometimes in the hole but broke off not holding. And since the gasket is metal and multi layered it makes a puff\ tingny sound. Stops when warns up because the metal swells.
I would check it

Modulars are not V6s and V6s are not Modulars so take this^ with a grain of salt
