Hi guys, I just finished a 5k 6 month interval in my ranger with 5w20 quakerstate conventional.

I plan on running the same through the winter. I start her in the garage at above zero and run mostly highway.

Should I bother with a uoa?

Thanks guys.

Much appreciated. The truck felt smooth enough with the old oil....slightly more valve noise on startup but that may have been in my head.

I'm sure it's fine. My Dad used to run our family cars like that and they all went 300k with lots of life left when we sold them.

I was going to run synthetc but it has a small sump and my short trips can increase a bit but nothing extreme.

Sounds good!

Thanks

Correction....synthetc with an extended drain.

At my mileage and driving it made more sense just to change it twice a year at $25 a pop and sleep easy
