OTOH, I have a hard time understanding how any builder could neglect the obvious situation of their products being run through a car wash and then not built in the logic to allow this seamlessly and without damage.
Those who rely upon nannies aren't likely to think that a collision avoidance setup could be a problem in an automatic car wash.
I also find it difficult to believe that a quick trip through a car wash with a nice smooth floor and a setup that'll drag a over that smooth concrete even with all four locked would cause any damage to any vehicle.
Another urban myth?
