Programmable TPMS Sensors

Since I've been working in a tire shop for several years, I have a question I'd like to ask. How many of you are familiar with blank, programmable Tire Pressure Monitoring System sensors and the programming tools required to get them to work? The sensors I used one particular week was a Schrader EZ-Sensor 33500 and the tool I programmed with was a Bartec Tech 400 SD running the latest software update. What are yours?

My Xterra hatched a sensor last fall and bought a used one for $13 off ebay with install kit that reported to sell many and is still going without issue a year latter. I knew of new programmable units but the cost for something I haven't needed on a vehicle in my 40 years of driving was ridiculous. Walmart and couple others will find the dead units for free.
