Last weekend replaced the rear rotors and pads to get rid of a vibration when braking. Thats gone, but now the truck shakes pretty bad at +-70mph. Like the tires are badly out of balance. Only had this problem after the rotor/pad swap so I'm wondering about the new rotors.
I purchased Raybestos advanced technology rotors with painted hats and louvres and matching pads off Amazon. When delivered the boxes had no packing and were destroyed to the point the UPS guy wanted to see what the rotors looked like upon opening. Seemed ok, no chips or anything. I put some anti seize on the hub and put everything back together. Smelled for a while during bedding process but nothing unusual. To the touch the temp was even on both sides. No pulling. no vibration when braking. But as I approach 70 its like uh oh did I forget to tighten the lugs?
What could be wrong?
