How could I get better cold start performance by switching to a 10 weight from a 5 weight? As an owner of one with over 300k miles on the original injectors stiction is a mother on cold starts and going from 15 to 5 weight made a world of difference.
Because the cold-flow properties of 10w-30 & 5w-40 are nearly identical, depending on brand, they are close enough that "seat of the pants" could never tell the difference between the two.
