I've already said I'm going to use it.....may even try to find more for the stash. No one has any comments on the pictures I posted? I thought two cases of mid 90's Kendall looked pretty cool. I have no idea who the girl is.

It is weird how oils are different colors. That is almost blue from the pics. I have seen Green and purple, but never that dark.

The Kendall vintage I used, 10W-30 and 20W-50, had slightly different labels.

$1.50/quart. With my ocis and the fact that I've still got some Delo to use, the Kendall will last me 5 years.

It's a great call for a slightly older engine. The cool thing about a quality SAE 30 is that there are no VII's to shear down. There is also some testing that shows straight weights are better at upper cylinder wear protection. So if your climate (or heated garage) allows it, it is the way to go
I've really come to like SAE 30, and when this opportunity presented itself, I knew I needed to take advantage of it. The chart you posted awhile back showing better overall wear protection with 30 really sealed the deal for me.
