Baldwin B2, Seperation?

Ran this on the Ram 2500, OCI was pretty short don't remember how many KM but its super low.

Looks like in last pic, glue where it bonded to endcap broke or separated yes

The pleats are too far apart, no surprise it split.

I'm not impressed with baldwin compared to say Donaldson, in hydraulic big buck applications,
Baldwin hides it's specs, claims they're 'compatible' but the specs I squeezed out of their office says
no!

Guess the topic Baldwin anecdote shows that even generally well respected filter brands on this board can exhibit an issue. Assembly line and mass produced. Obviously pleat spacing/uniformity not good on this one.

I think I'm going to cut my last Clarcor filter and post it to share since I have no use for it. That will at least answer my question if they all have an ugly seam. The Hastings LF115s I used to post up we're no where as bad as this one.
