I should add that I have no affiliation with the linked company, it is just an example of the product.
They say "no fling", but how does it do in real use?
I've used the Maxima Chain Wax forever and have always liked how it performed. Doesn't fling, and usually lasts about 300~400 miles (depending on application and riding style) before the rollers start to loose their coating of lube. The newer Maxima Chain Wax seems even better today then it was 15 years ago.
I always apply it to a hot chain, and let it dry. I've never seen any fling from it. I'm currently running a DID 530ZVM-X chain and Sunstar sprockets on my big-bore 'Busa. So far this combination along with the Pro Honda HP chain lube with moly, has shown the most longevity in my application.
I'm also using it on my modified S1000RR's chain with good results. Although that is a much less stressful application (lighter bike and much less power).
