If you can keep buying vehicles for less than they are worth, I'd sell most of them, and buy some more!

Give how many on here get so easily sucked into drama threads, I would not be too surprised if the whole story, along with the speeding ticket one, is all but made up for [censored] and giggles.

I thought the same thing when I was a teenager.
These days I can't wait for my kids to get a license. I'll happily buy them a beater--driving them around to after school activities is going to be a pain.
[Plus if I can somehow keep them in reliable paid off cars until after college... maybe they'll skip the mistake I made--where I started buying new after college *on loan* instead of saving money and/or paying off debt all the more aggressively. Different thread though.]
