Weird private-label tire names

When I lived in upstate NY, the garage I got work done at sold "Laramie" brand tires...they were OK; but they seem to real easily attract nails to them so I kept going to him for a tire patch. After I think having a patch on all 4 tires, I found out the shop owner was willing to do order something else for me...I think I got something from BFGoodrich...

That's a mix between a 200 MPH Italian supercar and a grocery store so cheap you have to bring your own bags.

And they're actually made in the U.S. according to their DOT codes.

Came to this thread to say that I saw a Ginell brand tire on a lowered Honda Civic today.

A PT Cruiser with brand new Wanli tires, rear windshield has a Make America Great Again sticker. So I know no politics allowed.. so this is really about the tire choice. Come on, at least represent correctly if you're going to do that!! I'd heard of the brand before here, but never have seen it in the flesh.
