Currently in the stash:

8 5 qt. jugs PU 5W30
6 qts. PU 5W30
4 qts. AFE 0W30
1 5 qt. jug AFE 0W30
3 qts. Havoline 5W30 dino
3 qts. Mobil 1 0W40
5 qts. Mobil 1 TDT 5W40

The 0W40 was a yard sale score, and the 5W40 was a going out of business score. I bought 6 cases of it, and sold a bunch. Nothing goes to waste.

probably a quart/liter of Shell Helix 20W-50 Dino,
I don't stash oil

All my oils are 5W20 at this point:

2 cases of 5L jugs of Motomaster Formula 1 Synthetic, some of PYB,1 x PU left.

I change my oil twice a year regardless of mileage, I do about 20,000 km a year, 60/40 highway/city.

We get nasty weather in the Montreal region, from -30 to freezing rain, weather patterns shifting constantly. Definately severe service.

12 qts Havoline ATF Dexron VI for moms car
4 gallons of anti freeze
2 4 qt jugs Valvoline Maxlife ATF
1 qt Hyundai SP III ATF
Fram Ultra Filter for moms car

Worst part is I will be taking over oil changes on my moms car, and only have 1 oil change worth of oil for her (her Saturn Vue spec's 5w-30). Need another clearance sale at Advance or Auto Zone to stock up on some 5w-30. Either that or I will just use Supertech oil and filter for $15 every 5000 miles.

12 quarts of QS "supreme" 10w40 (cardboard cans still sealed) from 1971

Not to hi-jack, but I got 2 quarts of Castrol 10-30 GTX from my oil stockpile yesterday. These were left over from the late 90's--- the white bottles are now turning brown,,, going in the JD riding mower,,, any thing to get concerned about??? I can't really see how motor oil can ''spoil'' as it is about as old as dirt anyway,,,,,,,,
As with most here, I have a minimum of of 15 gallons of various brands, mostly 5-quart jugs, assorted quart bottles of different brands, different weights. Sold my motorcycle, I need to give the RP and Amsoil 15w50 to my grandson, who just bought a new Harley.

I think there is part of a 5 quart jug of 5W-30 from my last oil change, and a gallon and a half of 15W-40 that I use for the tractors and lawn/garden equipment. Other than that I prefer to let the local store hold my "stash" so my money isn't tied up in inventory.

Wow!

I feel unworthy. I have like 10 quarts of various Pennzoil synthetics that I got for $2 a quart and 2 jugs of Supertech synthetic. And a few oil filters. Oh yeah, and a bit of SAE30 that I got from Target for $1/quart. I was using that as makeup oil in the Jeep but it doesn't leak that much any more

I remember those green cardboard cans of Quaker State. There was always an opened one with a piece of plastic rubber banded around the top sitting on the garage floor. That's the only oil my dad used.

2 Quarts Texas Tea 5w20

Especially "inventory" which may not be suitable for your new car. Wally has plenty of what I use. It's always up to date. A closet full of 10 year old "German Castrol" doesn't do me much good.
