I have a fairly new (2 years old with little use) Milwaukee M12 1/4 cordless impact driver, was using it this morning. It was sunny outside, no sign of rain, so I left it along with some other tools to make a quick run to Walmart. When I got to Walmart it stared pouring, and my tools at home got soaked. I dried off the Milwaukee as best as I could and it still works fine, but should I spray it with some electric cleaner? First time this has happened and I hope I dont have to buy another one as I bought this one on sale.

Well the WD stands for water displacement so I doubt it would be bad for it. You can contact Milwaukee and see what they recommend you do.

Put Marvel Mystery Oil in a spray bottle, and coat them down, then wipe off excess.

Throw them in a big bag of rice like people do cell phones when they get wet

The electric/contact cleaner will disperse any water but you should spray out and let evaporate.awhile before trying to use tool!
