Not meant to go off topic, but now I see HF has a small Inverter Gen I haven't seen before

It's not as cheap as a T2, but looks like they are trying to move up, or I'm so way behind (most likely)

If its fairly good, I'd rather have one over 4 or 5 of the T2's.
My smallest cheapest gen is a CPE, Champion 2k Inverter generator and it has been problem free, boxy looking compared to the HF Inverter Gen.

That's a nice looking unit. The fact that it parallels is great as well. And all at a price much less than the overpriced and overhyped Honda stuff.

they had a 1000w blackmax inverter reconditioned for 140$ at direct tool last week.

If only it had been 1300w..

I have power tools that are right at that 1000w mark or more.

That had some other interesting stuff.. like a subaru powered lawn mower with electric start etc. 250$

I've used silicone and vinyl type tubing without issue. Not saying they're the best choice, just saying what's worked for me.

silicone tubing is fine.it resists nitromethane in my rc planes so gasoline should be safe.thats what i used on a chainsaw.
