Even thou the Extra Guard proved itself worthy, I prefer the siliconed Tough Guard for two OCIs (12K).

TG is a high efficiency surface filter with a moderate amount of pleats/area. 12k on that filter seems very dependent on what goes into the 12k miles IMO ...

What else do you suggest for $7 max?..... Wix/Napa Gold are my current alternatives.
I won't use a Pure One or sister Bosch anymore.
