Why the double login?

I had to log in and then delete the current saved link in my bookmarks. I then saved the current logged in link and it appears to be working normally now.

That worked for me also.
So something changed with the sign-in link here and just like I figured, nothing changed with my computer, that would have created the auto sign-out / 2nd step to sign-in..

Glad it's back to normal auto sign-in for me.

Me too. Thanks for posting the fix.

People still having issues staying logged in ? I access the site from (2) different computers and there's no rhyme or reason as to whether or not I'll remain logged in or not. I have tried checking the box to keep me logged in or I don't check the box as others have suggested with no difference.

Also, I get to the site by just typing "bob..." in my address bar and selecting the address "https://bobistheoilguy.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/forum_summary". Note that it is an https address too. Apparently going to 'http' would cause you to be re-directed and logins don't persist when that happens.
