Proline (Pepboys) Oil Filter: Who Makes Them?

I've searched around and from what I can tell Purolator makes or made them at one point. However the most recent info on this is from 2008. Is there anyone here that knows who makes Proline filters? Thanks!

Already got a fram ultra ready to go. I knew nothing about filters when I bought it, should I let it run to 5000 miles? Would be a waste of MS5K if I run it any less. Then again, I could change it early if there are known problems with these over 3000 miles.

Proline was my go to filter for many years.until the tear issues. My cost was $1.55 and they were good back then
