6 track days, added 0.25qt of make-up oil at last track weekend before this UOA on 8/22/2016 due not being at top of the dipstick. Also, at oil change done when this UOA was pulled filled to over max (
Also, the OLM was 9% when the oil change was done.

Very surprising the TBN retention given your olm status. Some people have had issues in the past with low TBN after even moderate runs. I guess the small makeup oil helps a tick

Maybe it would help to put in context is that it gets at least 2-4 drives a month, each of about 500mi in 8 hours (of 85%+ highway driving). The rear diff is another issue. You can see my other posts, but I'm curious how the Red Line Shockproof Heavy did (esp. since last track day I managed to get the temperature warning at 300F to come on a few times and had to take a break).

I'll try to abuse the engine more at the track, by revving it higher, otherwise the engine lives below 2500 RPM in normal traffic.

I can't understand why all the viscosity figures are high. Does anyone have the VOA for this oil or the viscosity figures (Might be in the PDS) ??

In particular I'm puzzled about the Sodium figure and without the VOA it's not possible to rule out an HG leak as the cause of the increased viscosity.
Most coolants contain anti freeze with both Sodium and Potassium compounds BUT not all of them. One of the reasons I don't use oils with Sodium in their add packs is that it can confuse things when you are looking at a UOA.

The metal wear rates is good for your application, and the used oil appears serviceable.
I would consider extending OCI .

VOAs here:
https://www.bobistheoilguy.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=2635056 (sodium is 11 -- Polaris labs)
https://www.bobistheoilguy.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=2141562 (sodium is 20 -- Blackstone)
https://bobistheoilguy.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/topics/476394/1 (sodium is 18 -- Wearcheck)

Viscosity from https://www.redlineoil.com/product.aspx?pid=2 says "Vis @ 100°C, cSt 11.9". So, mild or no thickening depending on what the tolerance of the test is.

My understanding is that GM left a lot of performance on the table with this engine. So, if I keep it stock I can hopefully expect a long life. (fingers crossed)

Nope, Total Quartz Ineo MC3 5W30. This was the first fill of RL 5W30.

Ooops, apology for the dumb questions from me, as you have stated so in the opening thread.

Wondering why is 2997 km(mile?) OCI so bad ? any problems ?

I'm not a chemist, but my understanding is that the wear rate at the beginning of the oil change is much higher than later per unit of distance. It probably has something to do with the oil solution reaching an equilibrium.

Mosport has to be a lot of fun in that Cadillac. I raced there in '89 w a GT1 Camaro and it was terrifying. One of my favorite tracks along with the old Road Atlanta (before they took out the dip) and Watkins Glen (before the bus stop).
