What are the larger filters for these cars? I read a post that says the purolator L20195 is a good candidate as it is an upgraded version of the MC FL400

I'm sticking with the FL-910s or the equivalent. There's very little room where the filter is located. No need to make it harder to remove.

The Saturn S series calls for the same filters as Ford's 1.6L so I have a full list of oversize's below. I have changed oil on the non turbo 1.6L and clearance is really tight in there so be careful.

* Wix/Microguard: 51516
* Mobil-1: M1-209
* Amsoil: EaO34
* Fram: PH3600 (Ultra - XG3600)
* Wal-Mart SuperTech: 3600
* Motorcraft: FL400A
* PepBoy's Proline: PPL-20195
* Mazda Oil Filter: P/N: YF09-14-302A0
* Motorcraft: FL-400-S
* Napa ProSelect: SFI 21516
* Hastings: LF134
* Donaldson: P550400
* Purolator PureOne: PL20195
* Purolator Classic: L20195
* STP: S3600
* Valuecraft: V3600
* AC Delco: PFL400A
* Royal Purple: 20-400
* Bosch Distance Plus Oil Filter: D3422
* Bosch Regular: 3422
* Napa Silver/Gold: 31516
* AMS Oil: EAO34

+1

Not sure how the oil filter is on a Fiesta ST, but I changed oil on a 2013 Escape with the same engine (1.6L EcoBoost) & the filter was a major pain in the rear. I don't think I'd want to try any longer than stock, it would be next to impossible

+2. I have used the FL 910 for years on my Focus and it has served very well.
